Rollers Australia is proud to announce a new long-term partnership with Little Wings, supporting the outstanding work they do for seriously ill children and their families.
Little Wings is a not-for-profit children’s charity providing free, safe and professional flight and ground transport for seriously ill children and their families living in regional and remote NSW, the ACT and Queensland. They take children to specialist medical treatment in major city hospitals and bring them home again, easing the financial burden, travel fatigue and emotional strain on families during the hardest time of their lives. Their pilots and drivers are all volunteers, and more than half of the children they help are living with some form of cancer.
Rollers is a regional business. Our depots, our people and our customers are based in the same country towns and communities that Little Wings serves every day. Many of us know what it means to live hours from a major hospital, and the families Little Wings supports could well be our neighbours, our customers or our own. Partnering with a charity that looks after regional families is a natural fit for who we are and where we come from.
Over the coming years, we’ll be exploring ways for the whole Rollers team to get involved and help raise awareness and support for Little Wings across our regions. Stay tuned for updates as our plans come together.
