Peter Wighton

Peter Wighton brings more than 40 years of mechanical industry experience to Rollers Australia, with extensive knowledge across the agricultural, mining and civil construction sectors throughout New South Wales and Queensland.

Raised in a rural environment, Peter developed strong country values and a practical hands-on work ethic from an early age. He began his career in the cotton industry in Moree, where he completed his trade qualifications as a Plant Mechanic, building a solid foundation in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.

Peter joined Rollers Australia in October 1999 as Maintenance Manager and has played an important role in supporting the company’s operations and fleet reliability for more than two decades. His broad industry experience and technical expertise have contributed significantly to maintaining high operational standards across the business.

TAFE qualified in both Plant and Automotive trades, Peter has undertaken extensive supplier, trade and in-house training throughout his career. His experience spans a wide range of mechanical disciplines, giving him a strong understanding of equipment performance, maintenance management and operational efficiency within demanding work environments.

Known for his practical knowledge, reliability and commitment to quality workmanship, Peter continues to be a valued and respected member of the Rollers Australia team.
